1st Day of 1st Grade!

So who ever said watching your kids go to Kindergarten was hard, never had a 1st grader. Kindergarten was great, it was an everyday preschool (and who couldn't use a two hour break everyday?) But 1st grade is hard they are gone almost all day long! I can't believe my baby boy is this old....but he sure is good lookin'!!!
My big kids (can't really call them my babies anymore) They really love each other!
Best Buds....and all in the same class....we feel bad for Mrs. Warnick.
The neighborhood has a "meet and greet" at the bus stop for the 1st day of school. Everyone brings a breakfast food to share. Haylee and Raoh loved the cinnamon rolls.
So, I thought for sure I would cry as I watched him leave but....he did all the crying (not because he was leaving). It was a long morning getting everyone ready to go, so it was kind of a relief we made it to the bus! I was glad I got the boys pictures done before they pulled out the chocolate doughnuts, because he looked so cute for his 1st day, and the second the doughnuts came out he had chocolate all over his clothes:( Then the boys chased each other around and Ethan ended up falling and skinning his knees and elbows...ouch (they weren't bad) so then he sat down on the WET grass and cried and of course I was holding Avery so I couldn't pick him up. I kept trying to convince him to come home and change and I would just take him to school, but obviously missing the bus the 1st day was more traumatic then going to school with a wet bum!
When the bus finally came he hurried and got up and grabbed his bag and was ready to go. He kissed me and ran to get in line. So, after all that I did not cry I walked home proud of myself for handling 3 kids on our 1st real busy morning, and not losing it myself. And who really cares what Ethan looked like this morning (secretly I do, but don't tell anyone) There is always tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that, maybe by the last day of school we will have it all together...here's for hoping.
I was trying to get a picture of Ethan as he got on the bus...can you see the chocolate on his shirt, his poor skinned elbow, and his red eyes? Hey at least we tried!

Daddy's little ANGELS!

We are so blessed to have these 2 beautiful girls! Daddy is hoping Avery will be more of a "tom-boy" than Haylee, but I'm afraid Haylee will never let that happen. She already treats Avery like her own little Barbie.
It was sisterly love at first sight. Haylee is proud of her baby sis. She was extremely disappointed she couldn't take Avery to church on Sunday and show her off, but everyone has told me she shared lots of details about her during primary.
Avery's 1st car ride... (coming home) They made her stay at the hosp an extra night to be on lights....i cried all the way home and most of the night because I left her behind.
Haylee calls this snuggle time. She loves to hold Avery and snuggle. I think Avery likes it too. Are they not the sweetest girls ever?
Haylee has done great with the new baby home. She does prefer to have Gma Kathy with us...Gma gives her the extra attention she is use to getting. I am still trying to figure out how to manage my time with 3 kids. Haylee thought she was funny when she found out that Averys bibs fit her, but she wouldn't leave it on for long once she realized Avery had spit up all over it.
Haylee played beauty shop with Avery, where she painted her toes and with moms help painted Avery's. She loves being a big sister!

How pretty are Averys 11 toes. Haylee says shes lucky she can 3 flowers on her toes when she gets a pedicure. Too bad that will have to change:(
Mom loves the big bows and flowers. Dad pulls them off when ever he sees them, he likes to see the hair not the bow. Most of them are the size of her head, its pretty funny....But she sure looks cute in them!
It's only been a week but she has changed so much. She is looking more and more like Haylee everyday!

I love this funny face!

Proud Mother of THREE!!!

I was looking at all my pictures, trying to decide which ones everyone would want to see, when I became overwhelmed with gratitiude for these little blessings I have been given! Each one of them is so different and unique in their own way. You wouldn't think you could love the next child as much as the one before, but it is amazing how much love you can feel for each one. I am definetly not deserving of these sweet spirits but so thankful they are mine anyway. They are worth all the trouble we go through for them. I just hope I can be as big of an example to them as they have been to me!

Swimming Lessons

Ethan and Haylee had swim lessons for the last 2 weeks and of course I missed most of them, being in the hospital. Andy took them for their last day on Friday and took some pict so I could see. They had a great time and passed. All they could talk about was how they went off the diving board and down the big slide. They are growing up so fast, and are so much fun to watch. Just thought I would share whats going on with them lately, since life right now is revolving around Avery.

It's not goodbye...its see ya later

It was fun having Uncle Luke, Aunt Sammy, and baby Jack here with us when Avery was born but it sure made the goodbyes harder. (Espicially since emotions can be out of control after having a baby!) Sam and Luke spent the majority of Tuesday night with us at the hospital and then came back to say their final I LOVE YOUs before they left. It was hard watching Jack walk away, knowing how he will change before I get to see him again. I sure hope he remembers us this way when he comes back.

Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Skip have the cutest grand kids any one could ask for!
The babes saying hello and goodbye to eachother. I hope they grow to be great friends, even long distance. We all bought web cames so we can stay in touch.

the bili lights

Our poor baby has had to stay under bili lights to get rid of her jaundice. It is SO hard to make her stay under there! She hates it, and I am sure she feels so neglected and alone. I just sat next to her today and cried with her. It breaks my heart :(
It wouldn't be so hard to stick her there, except she hates the eye mask she has to wear. She has become a pro at pulling it off so we have to put mittens on her so she cant grab it. She has been scratching her cheeks and pulling her hair (really she pulls her hair) trying to get it off. But she does look really cute with the mask and mittens on.
Her body temp was low and we were trying to get her settled down by bundling her up under the lights. We planned on taking everything off once she was settled but she never settled. Alot of good that did making her sit under totally covered.
It has been really hard watching her go through this. Hopefully the test results will come back better tomorrow. We have to take her to get tested everyday until she is better. It is sad, they slice her heel and try to get enough blood to fill a little vile. Friday the person testing her had to slice her heel 3 time ( I was in tears) but today we had the oldest most experienced nurse at the hosp and she was really good Avery did not even cry. The nurses name was Jan and she will be the only nurse allowed to take her blood from now on.

Avery Gwen is HERE!

This is our beautiful new baby girl Avery Gwen! She arrived Tuesday Aug. 7th. She is 5 lbs. 11 oz. and 17 1/2 in. long! She is so sweet, and can you believe all the hair?
Even being so little she has so much personality! We could not have asked for anything more perfect. Three kids is alot of fun (and work) even with all the help from Grandma Kathy. Thats why it has taken almost a week to post this hopefully I can get some pictures on tonight...
