Mother upset with 5th grader for throwing rocks....

Thursday Dec. 11, 2008 Ethan Mac, a 2nd grader, was running track with his class at the local Elementary School. Witnesses say that a 5th grader picked up a rock and threw it. The rock hurled towards the track where several boys and girls were. Suddenly Ethan dropped to the ground. The rock hit Ethan just under his right eye. His friends said he was brave and didn't cry, very much. The 5th grader did feel bad and apologized. By the time Ethan got home his eye had already bruised. Ethan's mother was suprised at how over the next 24 hours his bruise continued to get worse. She is also worried that he will still have a black eye for Christmas. Let this be a lesson for all kids. Throwing rocks is never a good idea!

Only once a year...

Mom and Dad get all dressed up, and plan on spending the entire day together with NO kids. Well, actually we planned to leave at 3pm (not all day, but still we were gone a long time) and actually left at 3:30pm . We had big plans to head to Salt Lake and finish our Christmas Shopping before heading to the Grand America for PMI's Christmas Party. We got up to Salt Lake around 4:15 and pulled into the Gateway Mall, only to find out there was a big b-ball game going on at the Energy Solutions Arena. Which meant no parking, and lots of traffic! We drove into the underground parking structure and soon realized there weren't any spots so we tried to leave...long story short....it took us 45 min. to get out of the underground parking lot, and we didn't do any shopping. Now it was time to head to the PARTY. PMI really knows how to throw a party ( the table in the back right of the conference room can vouch for that) . They do drawing for big prizes every year. This year included 2 big screen TV's, 3 cruises, trip to San Diego, 2 Blu-ray players, 2XBOX 360, 3 Wii's, 2 Nintendo DS, lots of Maverik gas cards, and the list goes on and on. Well....we won NOTHING! Not so bad, we figured we wouldn't so we weren't disappointed. Then we partied some more, and finally at the very end they do a balloon drop. Inside a lot of balloons they put cash. So we hop in the middle of a bunch of drunk people ready to fight for balloons. The balloons drop and Andy starts hoarding them. We got around 10 balloons. He starts popping the balloons.......in one of the balloons out flies......$1....wahoo, but wait we still have more balloons, we keep popping, and out flies............another $1 bill! Yes, out of all the prizes they gave away we walked away $2 richer. Another successful Christmas party is over. We had a great time, really we did.
Aunt Ally was so nice to come spend the day with the kids. They rented movies and made pizza, and decorated their Gingerbread House. Thanks Ally, YOU ROCK!
Ally must have had some good control over the kids, when I help the kids it doesn't turn out as good as this one!
They look loopy from all the sugar, but at least they are not in sugar induced colmas.
Sugar overload Haylee with her perfect tree.
Sugar is the only thing keeping me awake Ethan and his "can I be done so I can eat this" tree
Avery says,
"Leave me alone I'm still eating I'll smile later right before hurl."
