My little REBEL!

Notice any similarities? Today Ethan decided he just had to have a faux hawk for school, Andy kept telling him he looked like a girl because he was doing his hair like Averys! But he loved it...I am so glad we are getting hair cuts tonight!
He does look pretty handsome though. My kids drive me crazy but they do keep me laughing.

I wanted to take a picture of them together before they left and Haylee wanted kept asking why we were not doing it by the tree. We probably would have except I wasn't dressed:)

This is better...

So Andy has hated his celeb look alike post since I did it (probably because he looks like Christina Applegate) Anyways, he chose a new photo and I did it again...This time he looks like UMA! He just needs to face it, he has a girly face:) I would choose Uma over Christina though...

HELP!

We are getting family pictures taken tomorrow (just mom and dad and Avery) and then again on Saturday (with all 5 of us) and I really could use some ideas on what to have everybody wear. So, if you have had or seen a cute family portrait and liked what they were wearing leave me a comment and let me know I am running out of time to find clothes for everybody. Thanks for the help....

6 weeks already...almost blessing time!

I can't believe how fast time flies by when your having fun (or busy and sleep deprived) Avery will be 6 weeks on Tuesday...can you believe it? She is growing up so fast. We just heard from the bishop and he granted us permission to bless her on Sept. 30th, it's coming up fast but Sammy will be in town and we didn't want her to miss it! It's not Fast Sunday, but it is my kids primary program so it will be fun to have all of our family there! We are so excited...all of you are invited to come if you would like just let me know so I can plan on having enough food for afterwards! Love to all...

Labor Day at the Aquarium...

We had no school on Labor day so we decided to go the Aquarium. It was so much fun ( it wasn't sea world but good enough for Utah). Gma Kathy, Aunt Ally, and Aunt Katie came with us. We saw lots of cool things but were really disappointed that they did not have a tide pool with star fish in it to play with like at Sea World. I think that is why my kids wanted to go because I told them I thought there was one. But besides that minor set back we had a good time.

We saw "Utah fish" which was soooo exciting (sense the sarcasm) and very informational. Then we went to the ocean side of the aquarium which really was exciting. We saw eels, an octopus, jellyfish, huge lobsters, sea horses, sharks, and "puffer" fishes (don't know what they are really called) They did have a tide pool with sting rays for us to touch the kids were hesitant but eventually did it. They had a little play area that looked like a coral reef for the kids to play in and take pictures. Even Avery thought it was cool she was wide eyed the whole time (except the pict at the top when we were going through the "Utah fish" exhibit) We bought a season pass so I am sure we will be going back a few more times.

Pretty in Pink

I love having 2 girls. I bought Haylee this pink dress for Easter, and a couple weeks later found one for Avery. Haylee has been dying to take pictures with Avery in their matching dresses since April. So today when I got Haylee ready for church in the "pink flower" dress she insisted I put Avery in her dress to. I did and then we had a photo shoot...really I took about 25 pictures. It was fun. They are the sweetest girls anyone could ask for. I am so proud to be called mom! Just thought all of you would like to see these precious photos.

Becoming a MAN!

Saturday morning the whole family went to Gma and Gpa's to help freeze corn. It is something we have done every year since I can remember. All the girls were in the kitchen working on the corn, so Grandpa Skip found something for the "men" to do....YARDWORK! He told Ethan he would pay him $3 to mow the grass and Ethan quickly jumped on the opportunity to make a quick buck. He did a great job, and could even start the mower by himself (we were impressed with that because Grandpa Skip still has to start the mower for Aunt Katie who is 17!) I can't believe how big he is. I am glad he gets to help out at Grandpa's house because we pay our HOA to do our yard work for us. He needs to learn how to work like that. Good Job Buddy!
